This portfolio, with ribbon ties, is complete and contains 99 examples, in colour, of the folk costumes of Breton from about 1900 to the early 1940s. It is not only very beautiful but is also of historical importance.

Condition:
The boards are in very good condition, with a date stamp to the top, rubbing to the corners to the rear, and some light yellowing in places.

There is a small round sticker from a private library and a short inscription to the top to the reverse of the front boards.

There is a short inscription to the top of the title page.

Otherwise, the plates and text are in very good condition indeed, bright and fresh, with some mild bumping to the bottom and sides of a few of the pages.
