Last Laurels:The German Defence of Upper Silesia January-May 1945 by Silesian historian and writer Georg Gunter, looks at Soviet offensive against the strategically significant area of Upper Silesia on the Eastern Front.
The fighting in the region lasted from January to the last day of the war on the 8th May 1945.
The glazed boards are in vg condition, clean, with slight fading to the edges to the frontand rubbing to the corners.
The binding is tight. Inside, there is a minor stain to the front paste down, erased pencil marks to the fep, and closed tears to the bottom of pages 259/260 and 261/262, not affecting the text, which is otherwise clean and in vg condition.
