The book is a history of the huge, graceful, powerful Hood, launched in 1918, from design and construction, including armour, anti-torpedo protection, machinery, armament, modifications and more, her peacetime role, and her ultimate destruction at the hands of the German Battleship Bismarck in May 1941.
The dust wrapper is in vg condition, clean and fresh, with slight creasing to the top and minor handling marks.
The binding is tight.
