Description
When local historian John Cole and Observer editor-in-chief Richard Catlow were researching their hugely popular book, Images of Rochdale, they unearthed so many superb photographs that it soon became clear that one book alone could never come close to doing them justice. So the natural answer was to produce a second book and ‘Memory Lane Rochdale’ was born. It is profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, with captions, from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and to some extent the 1980s, of Rochdale, Norden, Bamford, Littleborough, Wardle, Lilnow. Newhey, Healey and Whitworth.
The dust wrapper is in vg condition, clean and bright, with a .4 cm closed tear to the top to the rear and a small scuff and crease to the bottom fore-corner.
