This is a history of the colliery and the men who worked there, from conception, the stripping of the topsoil, the sinking of the shafts, the raising of the towers, fitting it out, the development of the tunnels, the extraction of the coal, to eventual closure. The book is illustrated with numerous photographs.
Condition:
The card covers are clean, bright, and in very good condition. The binding is tigh and the interior is unmarked and in very good condition.
