This is an in-depth historical account of the age of the Roman Inquisition, established in 1542. It’s original objective was to eradicate Protestant heresy, but underwent modification as it expanded to investigate a range of activities that were perceived as immoral.
The dust wrapper is in near fine condition, crisp and clean, with only very superficial imperfections.
