The dust wrapper is in vg condition, clean and very bright, with rubbing and tanning to the top edges of the inside flaps and a .6 cm closed tear to the head of the spine to the rear.
There is light tanning to the page edges.
Profusely illustrated with photographs of Great Western Railway Wagons, milk tanks and their details, a large selection of containers, and a more comprehensive coverage of cranes (compared to the first volume), not only used as breakdown equipment but also for track re-laying, and goods and loading work.
The binding is square and tight.
Internally, the content is clean and glossy and in vg condition.
A very nice copy of a scarce, nearly forty year old book.
