Description
The author explores the History of Horwich through photographs and documents, covering such subjects as the Horwich Locomotive Works, Horwich fire Station, brick making, bleaching, blacksmiths, farmsteads, inns and much more, including a photograph of Fred Dibnah’s vehicle outside Horwich Parish Church, where he carried maintenance out on the tower.
The laminated boards are in near fine condition, clean and fresh, with mild rubbing to the top corners and some light scratches to the rear.
The binding is tight.
Internally, the book is clean apart from a few minor specks and in near fine condition.
The book is signed by the author to the title page.
A lovely copy.
