His work paved the way for the Ravenglass, Fairbourne, Romney Hythe & Dymchurch and all the other miniature railways which followed.The book comprises 59 pages of writings, with 23 black and white plates of photographs and diagrams.

The dust wrapper is in good condition only, with yellowing to the spine and edges, bumping and rubbing to the extremities, a .5 cm closed tear to the base of the spine, a 2.5 closed tear and very small chip to the bottom corner and general handling marks.

There is an original price sticker to the front inside flap.

The binding is tight.

There is spotting and light tanning to the page edges.

Internally, the content is clean and unmarked and in vg condition.
