This is the scarce Folio Society edition of “The Box of Delights,” a children’s fantasy novel by John Masefield. It is the sequel to “The Midnight Folk” and was first published in 1935. It is also known as”When The Wolves Were Running.” The Folio is beautifully illustrated by Sarah Ogilvie.
Condition:
The slipcase is bright, but has some marks on one side (see photos).
The book itself is in new condition. The green cloth boards are clean and fresh. The binding is very tight, and the interior is unmarked.
